No one really knows why the rocks move, leaving ghostly trails on the dry lake bed, but Move They Do!! Perhaps it's ice conditions, or wetness, that enables these large, 50 - 70 pound rocks to work their magic. These are a spectacular sight, and well worth the trip on 28 miles of gravel, dusty road -- and a flat tire on my new truck -- to get here.
